Purposes of Data Collection and Processing

I will also process your personal data in order to send you information about my activities and events if you sign up for my email newsletter.

If you are a registered user my newsletter and have supplied your e-mail address via my Newsletter subscription form I may occasionally send you an e-mail to keep you informed about activities and events I am involved in and my affiliated partners. You can cancel your subscription to my newsletter at any time, by notifying me via one of the contact channels specified below. I will then immediately delete your data inasmuch as they concern the mailing of my newsletter.

I mail my newsletter via the newsletter functionalities of my website's content management system. All data concerning the newsletter is stored on my web server only.

My newsletter contains so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such e-mails, which are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, I will be informed about how many recipients opened the newsletter, and which links have been clicked how often.

The data collected in the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and analysed by me in order to optimise the shipping of the newsletter, as well as to adapt the content of future newsletters even better to the interests of the subscribers. These personal data are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable and will not be passed on to third parties.

If you contact me via a website form or via e-mail, the data supplied by you will be stored by me for the purpose of dealing with your query and in case of follow-up communication. I will not pass on this data without your consent.

The graphic icons of various social networks that you find in the footer of each page, respectively within content elements on some subpages of my website, are merely links to my social network profiles, they are not so called "Social Plugins" and do not collect and transfer data. 

When visiting my profiles on social networks, the terms of services and data protection regulations of the respective network’s operating company apply. Data of users who interact with my profiles in these social networks and made available to me through the network’s operating company will be processed by me, for example messages sent to me or posts shared on my profile pages.

Please note, if you are logged into a social network, your visit to my website might be assigned to your social network account. The corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to your social network and stored there. Data collected this way is only exchanged between the browser and the operator of the social network. I have no knowledge of the content of the collected and transmitted data.

Here the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo will receive your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo when you visit our website or do not have a Vimeo account. The information is transmitted to a Vimeo server in the US, where it is stored. Please note that Vimeo might use the services of Google Analytics, and might transfer information about your use of the Vimeo plugin to Google, which will store this data likely on servers in the United States.
